We are currently seeking highly skilled Underground Auto Electricians to join our Maintenance team at Leinster.  Team members are expected to demonstrate focus on safety, achievement and team engagement in all aspects of their work. Leinster 

 

Leinster mine offers a recently upgraded world-class state-of-the-art underground workshop with two pits, automated truck wash, crane and an air-conditioned tool centre boasting 6000 tool hooks and a Milwaukee tool centre as well as all the modern fleet and equipment unique to the Australian mining industry which is without question a site to behold for those working underground. Management provide all staff hand-on development and career pathways at Leinster for those who are wishing to develop their career beyond their current role or skill-set.

 

The Leinster township provides services to Leinster staff offering all the modern conveniences beyond the eateries including swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and an 18 hole golf course.  

 

About You

 

  • Auto Electrician Trade (Australian recognised) 
  • Experience working as an Auto Electrician in a mining environment
  • Auto Electrical diagnosing and repairing of underground machinery (Caterpillar loaders, Atlas Copco trucks, Sandvik drills, Volvo IT L50/L120, Normet spray and charge rigs, KT4, and 2900R Loaders
  • Diagnose and repair RCT remote control system faults on Caterpillar loaders and assist with level set up design of RCT remote control systems in the mine
  • Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
  • Maintain a high level working knowledge of safety processes
  • Computer literacy in 1SAP is highly regarded
