Mt Arthur Coal is an open-cut coal mine 100 per cent owned by BHP. Located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales it's the largest producer of energy coal in the region, operating alongside olive growers, wine makers, horse breeders and the nearby residential community of Muswellbrook.

About the Role

 

We currently have a role available for a Warehouse Operator to join our team at Mt Arthur Coal on a DIDO 5:4 roster.

In this role you will maintain high standards of work to a global warehouse standard and ensure the safe and efficient execution of warehouse operations.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure all MHE (forklifts, reach trucks) are operated professionally and safely
  • Ensure holding of goods in a safe and satisfactory manner
  • Accept deliveries, unpack, sort and store – using RF scanners to receive goods
  • Responsible for the control of materials and continuous improvement
  • Ensure the safe and efficient execution of warehouse tasks as per supply procedures and minor warehouse and binning maintenance
  • Efficient and professional investigation to assist with resolution of customer queries   

About You

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
  • ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Proficient user of SAP or similar stock management system and MS Office
  • Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Customer service focused and ability to liaise with warehouse and maintenance teams effectively and efficiently
