About the Role
We are seeking motivated and forward‑thinking Work Management Planners (WMP) to join our Planning & Asset Health and Shutdowns team in Adelaide. This is a planner of the future role, focused not just on building high‑quality work plans today, but on embedding standard work, system‑based thinking and digital capability that enables safe, reliable and efficient execution tomorrow. The Work Management Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating work plans for assigned equipment or areas of responsibility, in line with 1SAP Work Management Processes and the Total Equipment Strategy. Success in the role is enabled through leveraging systems, data and standard processes to create a transparent, integrated rolling 12‑week plan, providing a strong baseline from which the business can execute, analyse and continuously improve. This position offers a strong entry‑level to experienced planner pathway, supporting capability building, succession planning and long‑term development within Planning & Asset Health.
This position is based in our Adelaide office with occasional site travel on a 5/2-day roster.
As a Work Management Planner, you will:
- Coordinate specialist and external resources where required
- Create material demands and actively manage parts readiness in partnership with Inventory Planning
- Monitor parts availability and engage Supply to ensure on‑time delivery
- Work closely with Asset Management Planners, Schedulers, Execution and Production teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement by applying structured routines, data and standard processes
- Build future‑focused planning capability in a high‑impact operational environment
- Develop digital, system and process expertise valued across Planning & Asset Health
- Be part of a team shaping the next generation of planners
- Flexible working with strong support for learning, development and progression
- Contribute to safer, more reliable and more sustainable asset outcomes across Copper SA
